I will teaching you how to make Cascarones. They are a Mexican tradition used for Easter, Cinco de Mayo and other celebrations. It is an egg shell filled with confetti used to crack over someone’s head and shower them with the confetti inside. It might sound strange, but it’s actually really fun. Children and adults can both enjoy running around and smashing eggs on their friends’ or family’s heads.
Materials:
Dozen egg shells
Paper confetti
Glue
Tissue paper cut into squares
Paint/egg dying kit
Step 1:
When you have your eggs poke a hole on top of your egg. Make sure the hole is big enough to drained out the yolk and egg whites. Once it’s drained out wash the leftovers inside with drops of water to clean out.
Step 2:
When you have your clean eggs begin painting or dying your eggs in whatever color you choose. This step is optional. Make sure eggs are complete and dry.
Step 3:
Once the eggs are decorated as you wanted them to be start stuffing the pieces of confetti in the hole of the egg.
Step 4:
When all the eggs are stuffed and ready to be used, place glue around the hole and place one square sheet of tissue paper on top of the hole.
YOU ARE DONE and ready to get crackin’ !!!!!!!!!!!
Make sure you crack it with the hole placing on their heads so it won’t hurt.
